MALDIVES

Maldive islands is a place which is in the indian ocean and close to India. 203 of this islands are inhabited.



This place is considered like a paradise because of their clear water, warm temperatures, paradise beaches that make it a lovely place.


THE CLIMATE


The climate of maldivas is tropical and warm.

The weather of maldives is charactericed by its monsoon.

Rain is abundant over the second monsoon: rain and winds are frequent.

The months when rains are more frequent are June and July.

Temperatures are between 25 and 28 ºC, they rarely drop below 25 ° C

and the average of the sea temperature is 28 ° C.

That is why the best time to visit it is from November to Holy week.


GETTING AROUND:


To visit this place, you must take a plain because it is in the sea.

When you arrive there, you can choose between taking a car, a boat or a ferry, all of this are public transport.

You should take the boat if you want to go to an other island, or the car if want you to travel only in one island.

The sea planes and private yachts, are also allow to turist, but not to the people of maldives.

Malé's mosques:

On a visit to the capital, you should visit the beautiful 17th-century coral stone Hukuru in Malé. The nearby Islamic Centre, topped with an enormous golden dome, is also possible to visit outside of prayer times. There are over 20 mosques scattered around the capital.


-While Grand Friday Mosque is the biggest mosque of Maldives, the oldest mosque is Hukuru Miskiiy.-

For an unforgettable underwater experience, dive to the Maldives Victory Wreck, lying on the western side of Hulhule. This is a dive for experienced divers.


Fish market is also one of the tourist destinations of Maldives

Travel to Maldives involves an inevitable trip to the beaches. The beaches of Maldives are considered to be one of the hottest beaches of the world


ENTERTAINMENT:

In maldives you should see the musical festivals, where natives sing their traditional songs and dances.

The majority of the turists that visit maldives are half of their free times sunbathing on the beach.


SOMETHING TO EAT:

Fish and rice are the principal dishes of this place.

Furthermore the areca nut, is very important to people of maldives who take it after dinner.
Its like mint that spanish people have.


To drink, we can taste the local drink. It is sweet and delicius, taken from the palm trunk.It is called roa.



The alcohol is forbidden to malés, but the tourist can buy it on turistic shops.
